This week Jada Blitz recognizes Carolyn Rex Priebe! Here is a little bit about Carolyn’s fitness journey
1.) Describe your fitness journey
I started at Jada Blitz in April 2015. I had a baby in September and I was having no luck losing my baby weight. I have joined gyms in the past and literally never stepped foot in them. I knew I needed to do something that would make me feel obligated to show up. I didn’t just want to do cardio either, but I had no idea where to start with weight training. So I emailed Jada Blitz and received a response back almost immediately. Justin paired me with Alex and I have never looked back.
2.) What is your favorite body part to train and why?
I really like leg day because I feel like I have made the most progress here. I could barely squat when I first started but now I am so much better at it.
3.) What is your go-to jam to get you pumped up?
My workout playlist is pretty diverse. Lately I have been listening to Taking Back Sunday and Brand New.
4.) What is your favorite pre-post workout meal?
I get a “Say Cheesecake” protein shake from the Blitz Bar every day after my workout. It fits perfectly into my macro’s for the day.
5.) What is one attribute you love about your trainer?
I train with Alex. I think what I like most about Alex is that he does a really good job at balancing what I like to do with what I have to do. I love to lift heavy but I know that I need to do the high intensity stuff in order to achieve my weight loss goals. He has taught me so much in the last year that I actually have the confidence to come to the gym and workout on my own on days when I’m not training with him.
6.) Why should someone looking for a gym come to Jada Blitz?
The people at Jada Blitz are fantastic. They are always motivating you to be your very best. I have always felt intimidated at the gym but I am comfortable at Jada Blitz. The environment is great there!!
