This weeks shout out goes to Katie Clauss!! Congratulations!!! Here is a little bit about Katie’s journey with Jada Blitz

1.) Tell us why you chose Jada Blitz?
I chose Jada Blitz because I have always heard great thing about the trainers and the positive environment there. I currently do Personal Training there with Justin.

2.) Tell us about your fitness journey at Jada Blitz?
I started my journey just 6 weeks ago, but it feels like I’ve been part of the Jada Blitz family forever. I was looking for a challenging environment and to work with someone who would help me and push me to find the healthiest version of myself. I’ve always been an active person, but was slightly intimidated when it came to weight lifting. It has changed my body dramatically in a short amount of time and I’ve learned so much. I know I have many more miles on my journey to go, but so grateful to have found Jada Blitz and can’t imagine taking this journey anywhere else.

3.) What are your goals and what have you been able to accomplish so far?
My goal was weight loss, gain strength, and find the best version of myself. In just 6 weeks, I have lost 15 lbs, and dropped 2 dress sizes. I also feel the strongest I have ever felt, both physically and mentally.

4.) Tell us about your nutrition program.
My nutrition plan has directly impacted my results and success so far. I’ve been n it for the 6 weeks I’ve been personal training. My biggest take away is that I can eat carbs!!! I can eat a lot of them!!! I’ve learned what the good carbs are to eat. Also, that the timing of my meals and the proportion to fat, protein, and carbohydrate intake is so important. I have way more energy that helps me power through my workouts and I also sleep better. I realized how important it is to fuel your body properly and that eating right is part of the work. You can’t have one without the other to see maximum results.

5.) How does your trainer motivate you to get through a workout?
Justin motivates me to get through a workout with his high energy, intensity, and passion for what he does. It’s contagious! He believes in me and always pushes me to get one more rep in or push through one more set. Justin always has a personal touch where he has taken the time through our sessions to really get to know me as well. That means so much and makes a world of difference. He cares so much about each and every one of his clients. He takes us all very seriously. If you’re going to be in, be all in! With Justin, there is no “halfway”. He makes you want to give it your all…that 110% every session. This for me is not only motivating…it’s inspiring.

6.) What sets Jada Blitz apart from other fitness facilities?
Jada Blitz to me is so much more that just a gym. Every trainer, every instructor, every person that works there wants to see you succeed and meet your goals. The atmosphere is like no other place…it’s so positive. The energy within those walls in unexplainable and in just the short amount of time that I’ve been training there, I feel like I can say what so many have said about this place; it’s like having an extended family. You train harder together, you have good days together, not so good days, emotional days, breakthrough days, and in the end, everyone is there together, rooting one another on and working hard towards some sort of like-minded goal.

7.) What is one attribute you love about your trainer?
It’s hard to pick just one attribute about Justin because there are so many, but if I had to pick one I would say it’s his passion. His passion for what he does and the people he works with is not only inspirational, but aspirational. That passion has been contagious for me. It’s not only driven me to want to accomplish my goals, but to always reach for the next. To push the envelope. I love the saying; “do what you love and love what you do”. Justin does just that and he is so good at it.

8.) Why should someone looking to join a gym, join Jada Blitz?
Someone looking to join a gym should chose Jada Blitz because not only will you reach, surpass, and crush your fitness and health goals; but you are going to meet some pretty amazing people along the way. Not only is the environment positive and motivating, but one where you are challenged and pushed outside your comfort zone to reach new levels you may have thought impossible to reach. The trainers and staff are super knowledgeable and educate you along the way so you feel equipped for the everyday. It’s a place where so many strive to find the better…best version of themselves and then share their stories in the hopes of inspiring or bettering someone else’s lift. Who wouldn’t want to be part of that!
