This weeks shout out goes to John Urso!!! Here is a little bit about John’s fitness journey
I’ve always been a fairly active person. A few years ago though I decided to clean up some of my bad habits and really try to be consistent with the gym as much as possible. Around the same time a friend of mine made mention that he was going to be doing a men’s physique competition. Not being too familiar with that, I did some research and quickly became interested. After some serious thought, and talking to Justin I decided to get on the stage this fall.
My favorite part of the body to train is legs…more specifically…squatting. I never used to be a fan of this though. I’ve learned they not only require all the physical strength you have, but they also require you to be in it mentally as well.
My favorite aspect about my fitness journey at Jada Blitz is the sense of being part of a complete team. I also really value the lessons and guidance they’ve given me about the importance of diet in conjunction with a workout plan.
My favorite pre-work meal would be brown with black beans (when they’re in the pantry lol) about an hour before my workout. My post-workout meal usually consists of a protein shake immediately following and then some more brown rice with either tuna or chicken.
The attribute I love best about my trainer, Justin, is that he is not only an extremely knowledgeable trainer, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to help you succeed and reach your personal fitness goals. He’s not going to do the work for you, but will most definitely give you the tools, motivation, and guidance you need to succeed personally. Justin and the Jada Blitz crew are in it for the long…that’s for sure.
