Client of the Week

This weeks shout out goes to Nicholas Eadie! Here is Nick’s story

1.) Describe your fitness journey at Jada Blitz…what set’s Jada Blitz apart from other fitness facilities?
I started at Jada Blitz in February 2015 with the goal to lose weight and become a healthier version of myself. I have always tried to lose weight on my own but I didn’t have the knowledge on proper lifting technique or nutritional information. I knew a few other people who worked out at Jada Blitz and they had great results, so I thought I would give it a try. From the moment I had my first session with Justin, and then my regular trainer, Don, I could definitely feel the positive energy at Jada Blitz. All of the trainers are there to help motivate you to meet whatever goal you are trying to accomplish. I wasn’t sure how successful I would be since I haven’t seen good results in the past. But in just a short 6 months, I was able to lose over 40 lbs of fat and get both my cholesterol and blood pressure within healthy ranges. Without the motivation and knowledge from Don, I don’t think I would have gotten this far in such a short amount of time.

2.) What is your favorite body part to train?
My favorite body part to train is chest. When I started with Don, I could barely bench press anything. Now I am able to lift the most weight ever in my life and I can definitely feel an increase in strength while doing every day activities. I like working out my chest since I can feel my strength increasing. It has been my largest gain in strength since beginning my fitness journey. Who doesn’t love bench pressing a ton of weight!?

3.) What is your favorite go-to jam to get you pumped for a lifting session?
My favorite go to jam is Thunderstruck by AC/DC. Not sure why, maybe it’s the real heavy base but nothing gets me ready to lift heavy like that song does.

4.) What is your favorite pre-post workout meals?
My favorite pre-workout meal is a protein shake and some Chex cereal. I feel like it is a great combo to give me the necessary energy to power through a long workout. It’s also a tip I picked up from Don. My favorite post workout meal (besides another protein shake) is usually chicken, broccoli and a starch like a potato or rice.

5.) What is one attribute you love about your trainer?
One attribute I love about Don is that he is always working to make me better and to help me reach my goals. I know I can ask him for advice on anything relating to working out and he will have the answer. He is also a great motivator and doesn’t let me get down on myself if I’m having an off day. He is always pushing me forward. Without that push I wouldn’t have made it this far.
