Spice up your game day appetizers with these Stuffed Hot Peppers.  Easy to assemble, this recipe is savory & SPICY. This recipe can be prepped in advanced and then baked off just before the game starts.

16oz. Turkey Sausage
368g Hungarian Wax Peppers (about 9-10 peppers)
105g 1/3 Less Fat Cream Cheese
4 Garlic Cloves – Minced
50g Red Onion – Diced
28g Parmesan Cheese
1 Tbsp. Italian Seasoning
Salt & Pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Cut each Hungarian Wax Pepper in half lengthwise and remove seeds.  **BE CAREFUL – THESE CAN BE VERY SPICY**

Begin cooking Turkey Sausage in a nonstick pan over medium high heat.

Once Turkey Sausage starts to brown, add Onion and Garlic – continue to cook until onions become translucent and sausage is broken up into small crumbles.

Remove from heat and add in Cream Cheese – the residual heat from the pan will melt the Cream Cheese.

In a separate bowl, combine Parmesan Cheese and Italian Seasoning.

Combine HALF of the Parmesan Italian Seasoning with Sausage mixture.  Let cool for 5 minutes.

Fill each Pepper half with Sausage mixture and place on baking sheet coated with non-stick spray.

Bake for 20 minutes, then evenly distribute remaining Parmesan Italian Seasoning mixture over cooked Peppers.
