For me, my journey began 2 1/2 years ago with my yearly physical. I was told that my health was in really poor shape. My blood pressure was getting very high, I had developed sleep apnea, and I was developing type 2 diabetes. I decided that enough was enough and began exercising right away. The 2 goals that I set for myself was to lose 100 lbs. and to change my diet.
Like most of us that exercise regularly, I got addicted to working out quickly, and those 3 times a week workouts soon became 5-6 times per week. I started tracking everything I ate and had set up my macro levels to match my workouts. At first, the weigh started coming off quickly, but I was also beating myself up to much with my workouts. I was starting to hit the wall. I needed to get more direction with where I was going. After 2 failed attempts at finding a trainer, I decided it was time to check out Jada Blitz. I had heard a lot of good this about the gym, and that Justin had the experience and knowledge I was craving.
I have been training with Jon Magnano and Jada Blitz now for about 7 months. Jon is an awesome trainer. He has a wide knowledge of exercise technics, and always give me or anyone else he is training, his undivided attention. He is a true professional. After spending time here at Jada Blitz, you soon realize that everyone that works in the gym shares these values. It is great to see that as I have grown with Jada, they are continuing to grow in the exercise community. We are all here for the same reason. To have fun, get fit, feel good about ourselves, and then hopefully pass it on. For me, I have lost 75 lbs. I still want to get to my 100 lb. goal, but I now have a lot of additional goals and milestones I want hit, and I know that Jada can take me there. Thank you Justin, Jon, and everyone at the gym for truly caring about fitness.
