I am an attorney and did trial work for over 30 yrs. throughout NYS and the Northeast Region of the US. I have always had some level of fitness program going as far back as HS when I was a member of the Varsity Swim Team for 4 yrs.
Throughout college and into my professional yrs. I played basketball several times a week and jogged 5 to 8 miles at lest 3 times a week. In 1988 I began to train in the gym using weights and mixed cardio under the supervision and friendship of Bob Bateson of Body Blocks.
I moved around starting in 2010 looking for a gym in the Williamsville area that could meet my needs and help to sustain the gains I had made and to continue my good health. I found Jada Blitz by luck and was very impressed w Justin as he explained his approach to running the gym and personal training as well. We have since become good friends and business partners as well.
I love working w all of the trainers here and I am in the gym 4 to 6 times a week for sessions of 1to 1&1/2 hrs. I have mostly been training w Stephanie as my primary trainer. I do not lift “heavy” anymore due to a shoulder injury and also because at 71 I am not sure why I would lift heavy anyways.
All the trainers are good w fairly similar routines and wonderful personalities. So I enjoy working w them all. Stephanie has morphed into my primary trainer. She always has a plan ready to follow which i like and she now knows what I can and cannot do comfortably. Richard Gioia and I have a standing workout every Saturday w Justin at 7:30 to 9am. I am healthy, feel good and for my age I think I do fairly well in the gym. My workouts are very aggressive and I am fortunate that I really enjoy them.
