Client of the Week


This weeks shout out goes to Matt Woods!!!!  Here is a little bit about Matt’s journey.

Growing up I was always a big kid.  The only real exercise that I got was playing sports. A couple of friends and I even called ourselves the “three huskateers.” Once sports ended I didn’t real do much to help myself and I ate out constantly. About a year ago my cousin Steve texted me a challenge to come work out at Jada Blitz and lose weight. Through the help of my trainer Adam we beat him in that challenge and I continued to work out at Jada Blitz. Now, after a full year, I can say that I have more energy than I ever have and I’m fitting into clothes that I never thought I could. It’s definitely true that success breeds success because after seeing the results that we’ve achieved it makes me want to work harder and continue on.

 

Why did you choose Jada Blitz as your fitness facility?

I chose Jada Blitz because it seemed like a gym that could help me with what I needed. I was very new to having planned workouts and changes in diet but Adam sat down with me and helped me figure out exactly what I needed to do.

 

How does your trainer motivate you through a workout?

Adam changes things up and makes sure that we’re not doing the same workouts over and over. He makes sure that I always feel like I can achieve all the goals that we set and pushes me to try things that I would never try myself.

 

What is your favorite body part to train?

My favorite body part to train is arms.   It’s where I’ve seen some of my biggest progress and it always reinforces what we’re doing when I am able to lift weights that I never could before.

 

Do you have a go-to jam that gets you pumped?

Right now I’m pretty into rap music. I’d have to say rapper Lil Dicky has been my go to favorite rapper and pump up jams since day one.

 

What is your favorite pre-post workout meal?

My favorite meal to have after a workout definitely has to be chicken with rice and corn.

 

What is one attribute you love about your trainer?

My trainer Adam is really great.  I really appreciate all the time that he’s put in with me during my time at Jada Blitz. He has always made workouts that I’m capable of without overwhelming me. Adam keeps things positive and makes sure that we celebrate each of our accomplishments without losing sight of the big picture. I am truly thankful for all that Adam has done for me.

 

Why should someone looking to join a gym come to Jada Blitz?

Someone looking to join a gym should definitely consider Jada Blitz because of all the things that they have to offer. Even with all the new equipment that they have, one of the best traits about Jada Blitz is how friendly it is.  Every time you come in the door everyone knows who you are and is looking to help. I have tried many other things before Jada Blitz but the only thing that’s really worked and stuck has been this gym with the help of the great people in it.
